Greens thoughtful plan to reform the tax and welfare systems, saying the current arrangement is a "disgrace" that condemns families and children to poverty.
Statistics NZ in 2018 said the wealth of the bottom 40 percent of Kiwis hadn't changed in years, while the wealthiest 20 percent saw their fortunes skyrocket.
An Oxfam report, also in 2018, found 1 percent of New Zealanders had hoarded 28 percent of new wealth generated the previous year - while the poorest 30 percent only got 1 percent of it.

Chris Kraus - I write about two New Zealand artists in the book – Kate Newby, who is known internationally, but who doesn’t live in New Zealand, she lives in Brooklyn. Tao Wells, who is not known internationally, lives in New Zealand. And that’s a curious thing, you know – the point isn’t to critique it or not critique it, but just to observe it.
CMH: But you left New Zealand yourself, to pursue your dreams
of becoming an artist – so you must have sympathy for these artists who
move.
CK: But everyone has to leave their country now – so you can’t really say there’s a national art. AnOther Magazine's launch in 2001 heralded a new chapter in magazine publishing. Its blend of high fashion and world-class photography with features on the arts, politics and literature continues to make each beautifully crafted edition a collectors’ item. Published twice a year, AnOther Magazine quickly established a reputation for highly original content brought together in its pages by an emerging set of photographers, stylists and writers bound by a search for creativity and authenticity. Counting Rihanna, Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman, Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams and Tilda Swinton amongst its impressive run of leading Hollywood cover stars, it is now the most recognised biannual fashion magazine in the world.

People forget, I'm an American, I've seen it all already. I've just watched US (us) capitalism drip itself into the souls of NZers, like it's done all over the world. I've made my moves of resistance, they are no joke. You can tell the way I'm kept out of the game now. Banned. Artist who bites the hand of the thief is not going to perpetuate the scene that accepts eating shit.
It's a war.
Always has been. Always will be Until it ends. The end and the fight have to exist simultaneously.
No one can aford to admit it.

Underworld - Dinosaur Adventure 3D
"Dinosaur Adventure 3D"
What you waiting for, days?
What you waiting, what you watching the skies up above
What you waiting the holes are for water let the fall
Let the clothes in let the clothes on
Keep your clothes on
Wherever you look,
Wherever, you look happy
I feel dazed, I feel disoriented
With a pineapple head
Walks in the sun
With a friend the mouse, with a friend the shadow
War machine ... war machine
Wrap her arms ... wrap her arms around me
War machine ... war machine
Come to wrap her arms, tight around her body
She moves fast ... she moves slow
She move down into the water ... I remember her
I remember her
I was leaving you
What you looking for babe
Your voice, I'm not incredible
Your voice is in desperation
I hear you
I hear bleeding
Between her arms are tight ...
Wrapped around her body ...
She moves fast, she look down ...
She won't look in my eyes ...
I remember her now ...
Her unnatural surprise
What you waiting for, days?
What you waiting, what you watching the skies up above
What you waiting the holes are for water let the fall
Let the clothes in let the clothes on
Keep your clothes on
Wherever you look
Wherever, you look happy
