yeah, UBI sounds great but not at the expense of existing free social services. Milton Friedman, and Free Market Capitalism dreamed of UBI as a way of removing state services and monetizing it all. With UBI the poor have money and can be asked to pay. Watch how UBI pitches don't even mentions state services, ever. They are the target, UBI will blast them away.- tw

The UBI they are advocating for, is in my opinion appear to be the architecture of "free Capitalism" at all levels. In their mainstream pitch, out laying their intent, NO ONE SAYS A single thing about protecting existing state services, because these are the exact intended targets of "free money". To destroy them, once and for all.

As I understand it, the argument that wins goes something like, "when the poor have money, they don't need free services, they can pay for them now." RIGHT! There are video's of Milton Freeman spelling this out as his wildest happiest wish!

Come on this is a real threat! You've read the material, see, prove to me with 5 minutes of your time, that I am wrong.

it shouldn't surprise you that they are selling eco green, racism free sustainability etc etc right along side it. It's a great pitch. I ask, just look at the cargo, the content!

What is it really? In the long term, because I already pay for my free health care, and free education, don't talk to me about the state of my teeth! I've seen how the all out war on existing social services has been going and how it makes itself felt on the mind and body of the working/unworking poor.

And yes there is a super simple solution to this and super easy to fix. Just shift the same current arguments on to UBS, Universal Basic Services. Some combination at LEAST. NOT the total absence of the core part of the story. Existing free (ish) Social Services.

To really own our own behavior and rise to the challenge of taking back control. To take a breath first of all. To take several. To disengage from the emotion, the fear in the anger and let the heat pass over you like a leaving cloud. It does. Watch it. Train and trust that it really does, experience it. Take yourself out of that narrative context, gently extract yourself with the agreement that this means I will return when I can discuss the issue calmly. Just general typical people stuff. Wells Tao one day in and we've evolved a system. For every time one of us, (me included), take a deep breath (for us that means raising your hands up above your head in time with your breath), and recover from getting too angry, one of us or yourself, is allowed a tick. Two ticks, if there was an apology and/or it's worked out for everyone in the end. The idea of course that at the end of the week, or weeks, or what have you, a certain amount of ticks will mean some sort of treat. No idea what the treat will be, lego has been mentioned, but this will also be the subject of great week long negotiation and debate!

Essential Services, I don't mean to be rude, but now seems to be the time to ask for a raise that is so high you will never need to ask for another raise ever again. Social Services, are these Essential Services? The Arts, Funded. Already heavily funded by the government. Professional and amateur sport funded, Farms funded, Building trade funded (through import control given to monopoly thugs), Education, Medicine, health ahahha. Look at how powerful the government is, actually, look at how rich it is. It's like a volcano creating new lands in giant spurts. Let's get involved. throw down the walls in truce. Lay a visible the foundations, reveal them for they are there,  for joining together as the obvious collective voice government has given money to, to be. Let's hear that voice. Across the codes. Unite for a shift in the way our economy works in our country. Where we distribute power, wealth through a democratic socialism, capitalist antidote. Repelled capitalism will be free to compete for profits, but team Democratic Economy is now visibly a figure on the board. Hello public consciousness, here I am, what you've had all along. Right under your noses. Welfare, free, unchained to capitalism, free to support those in need to give back as they can. Will we have a chance to make it work, probably not, as UBI has a historical plant in the left scene that goes back generations. UBI is a capitalists solution to the problem, and it's designed specifically to take down social services, give the poor a little money, make them pay for them. I do go on...
